Eva pour la vie has launched, with the support of Grandir Sans Cancer, a forum "Faced with cancers, serious illnesses and accidents in the life of the child, let's fight against inequalities" to raise awareness of public opinion and authorities. public. More than 110 deputies and senators, as well as dozens of associations have co-signed it.
This forum was co-signed in a transpartisan way by members of LaREM, AGIR, UDI, LR, PS, LFI including Paul Christophe, Sereine Mauborgne, Beatrice Descamps, Laurianne Rossi, Benoit Simian, Jean-Christophe Lagarde, François Ruffin, Guy Bricout and many others who work with us, both to obtain improvements in terms of funding for research on childhood cancer and to better support the families of seriously ill children, victims of a life-threatening accident.
After obtaining a fund dedicated to research on childhood cancer (2018), the mourning law for families of deceased children (2020) and the doubling of the duration of the AJPP in 2021 with the team of the Grandir Sans Cancer federation, we have also carried out unprecedented in-depth work which led, this summer, to the drafting of a concrete bill for the families of seriously ill children, victims of a life-threatening accident. , a handicap. When they find themselves in the obligation to reduce or stop their work to take care of their child, they must be protected against employment, housing (rent, credit), tax debts.
