Great south-west (on 10 sites) - Solidarity walks - 05 juin 2016

On Sunday June 5, 2016, the “Solidarity Walks” are organized by the Groupama Foundation, in partnership with Eva pour la vie, in 10 departments of the Grand Sud Ouest region, in magnificent settings.
All the contributions (minimum € 5 per person, tax deductible donation ) will be fully for the benefit of a promising research project, unique in Europe, on pediatric brain tumors (in particular brainstem tumors, today without treatment in France), led by Dr Hagedorn's team (INSERM). These donations will make it possible to prolong the recruitment of a qualified and motivated researcher, who works full time on this project. Together with the Groupama Foundation and friendly associations (Cassandra Association, Flavien Foundation, Aidons Marina, Kaëna Association, ESCAPE, Les Amis de Marius, etc.), we are the main funders of this project dedicated to children with cancer.

Several walks - accessible to adults and children - are planned in Dordogne (27), Charentes (16), Charente-Maritime (17), Dordogne (24), Indre (36), Lot et Garonne (47), Deux-Sèvres ( 79), Vendée (85), Vienne (86) and Gironde (33).




In Gironde, the walk will take place near the Citadel of Blaye, with a good part of the Bordeaux team of Eva pour la vie. Here are the details of the courses within the different departments:

Charente (16) - Sunday June 5, 2016 from 8 a.m.

Charente-Maritime (17) - Sunday June 5, 2016 from 9 a.m.
Meeting point: Citadel of BROUAGE Place d'Armes, South Gate.
2 routes to discover the marsh (its flora and fauna) and the citadel and its ramparts.


Dordogne (24) - Sunday June 5, 2016 from 10:30 am
Meeting point: Festival hall allée de Bastard 24390 HAUTEFORT
Route 1: 3 Kms imprinting the gardens of Hautefort castle and the old town.
Route 2: 11 kms called "the Hautefort loop" duration 2H / 2H30
